All Those Years Ago
It’s been 34 years since December 8, 1980. That was the day that John Lennon was taken from us as he and Yoko returned to their New York apartment in the Dakota. Mark David Chapman shot Lennon in the back 4 times.
John had just released a new album, Double Fantasy, after taking 5 years off after the birth of his second son, Sean.
This song was George Harrison’s tribute to John.
