London Olympic Logo
Either my Google skills suck and I can’t find a reference to what the 2012 Olympic Logo means, or I am a freaking artistic genius and can see things that even the designers didn’t realize were there.
I present my case. To your left you see the 2012 London Olympic Logo.
Everyone says it is ugly as sin and possibly the worst Olympic logo in history. When I saw it I had a different impression. I thought, “Wow, that is awesome. They have five shapes there and managed to work both the year 2012 and the city name “London” into the logo.
Okay, at this point, you are probably asking yourself, “wtf is he talking about?” Yeah 2012 is fairly obvious in the logo, but “London”? There is no overall reference to London in the logo other than the word “London” written on the first “2”.
I Google searched for it and couldn’t find it. Is it because my search skills are horrible? Or am I really the first person (including the designers) to see what should be pretty obvious?
My Google searching only indicated that some people saw the word “Zion” in the logo. I missed this because I wasn’t thinking that the Olympic designers would intentionally put the word “Zion” in an Olympic logo. The word “London” however, kind of makes a little sense for these Olympics (you know given the fact they are in London and not Zion) … just saying. Hmm, that makes me wonder. Could we do the 2032 Olympics in Zion? That would be awesome.
So here is where I start my Photoshop skills (which are really lacking since I don’t have Photoshop… we are going to have to settle for Windows Paint and maybe some Paint.net.) So here I go… give me a few minutes to make some pictures.
Okay. I’m back. It’s been about a half hour. I’m sorry I had to make you wait. For all the people that are a little slow and can’t see 2012 in the London Olympic Logo, I present my first PhotoShopped imaged (using Paint) – look to the right:
As you can see the basic shapes of the 2012 London Olympic Logo clearly spell out 2012.
So the Olympic Logo comes out and the all the religious, crazy people come out of the woodwork and see the word, “Zion” in the 2012 Olympic Logo.
I don’t know about this. Personally I read from left to right so the word would be “Zoin”, “Zoiz” or “Zoi2”. Also, I have to wonder about the people that see an Olympic Logo and have to drag religion into it. It is so out of context that if you are making that connection, you might be a crazy, religious fanatic. It’s kind of like seeing images of Jesus in your toast or finding that perfect Cornflake that looks like Illinois.
So yeah, you Zionists that read vertically, you are a crazy bunch of loonies. (and I don’t mean the Canadian kind)
So here we go, they are crazy, and I am a genius. Here is why:
I took one look at the 2012 London Olympic Logo and I saw both “2012” and “London” in it. It’s in context and it makes sense. You know since the Olympics are in London and in 2012.
The first “L” is a little bent because it has to double as a “2” in 2012
The top “N” just looks like it was drawn with a really wide marker which just blurred it all into a blob. It’s still an “N” though – (stay with me) really it is with a little imagination and since it has to double as a “0” in 2012, how else do you draw it? I challenge you to make a shape that looks both like an “N” and a “0” and do better.
The center “o” has to be used twice which is why it is kind of between the top and the bottom.
The “D” has to double as a “1” in 2012 so how else would you draw it? (I think that is the first time I have used “Double” and “D” in a sentence and wasn’t talking about… well never mind)
Then the final “N” isn’t really a stretch now is it… the crazy Zionists saw it so it must be at least semi- valid right?
“London” reads left to right which is what we do in the western hemisphere. England is mostly in the Western hemisphere and entirely in the western world.
Now I could just be totally wrong and this was intentional and everyone happened to know it but me and my horrible Google skills. If that is the case, please show me a link that this was intentional because my girlfriend this it is a stretch and I am just seeing things.
